What is Almost Perfect?

Almost Perfect is dedicated to the "Everygamer." The everyday man, woman, or kid who loves all things video game related! Our goal - and the dedication of this site -  is to provide gamers, like you, with reviews, previews and news on current, up and coming, and retro gaming - all while having fun doing it.

Video games have been a source of joy to many of us for many, many years, and it should stay just that way. We will give you the best reviews and info we can. But this isn't one sided... we want you to come to Almost Perfect and feel like part of a larger community of like-minded gamers.

Why "Almost Perfect"?

The name originated as a running joke between friends, so when we decided to bring our dreams to life on the internet we asked each other, 'What better name could we pick than Almost Perfect Gamers?'

Did You Know?

Almost everyone these days is talking about Pokemon Go (or was that over last week...) but did you know the idea was originally an April Fool's joke? I'm not positive but it might still be one... The Google Maps team worked with the Pokemon Company to create one of Google's famous April Fools jokes in 2014, originally titled "Google Maps: Pokemon Challenge" - the video went viral, people assumed this was a real thing, and so Niantic (or Ingress fame)was brought in make it happen.
